Rachel Hughes is a graduate of Vassar College and a former dancer with The Alvin Ailey American Dance Center. She holds an MSEd from Bank Street College in New York City, specializing in Early Childhood and Museum Education. Later, she became a licensed Nutritional Counselor, dedicating over a decade to working with chronic pain patients at the New England Center for Chronic Pain in Greenwich, CT.

She has authored several publications on a range of health conditions, including IBS, Tinnitus, and Fibromyalgia. When Rachel experienced disruptive perimenopausal symptoms, she embarked on a journey to find clarity and actionable information. In 2020, she joined the heyperry platform, where she launched and hosted “Perry Talks,” a series of live interviews with physicians, experts, and thought leaders on all things related to perimenopause and menopause. Her leadership helped the Perry community grow into the #1 menopause community app, fostering a space for women to share experiences and find support.

Currently, Rachel is the Community Manager at Alloy Women’s Health, where she is committed to bridging the gap between women facing peri/menopause symptoms and the science-based solutions that can improve their lives. She leads support groups and hosts Webinars and IG conversations providing data-driven, expert-led discussions on hormonal health. Through her work, Rachel creates inclusive spaces where women can connect, share their stories, and receive evidence-based support from medical professionals.
