Rachel Solomon is an author, writer and Creative Director/Founder of Honor Code Creative, a marketing/branding agency grounded in powerful emotional storytelling.
Formerly the fashion/beauty editor of BostonNow and Stuffy Columnist for Stuff Magazine, her work has been published in the Harvard AIDS Review, the Boston Globe, and InStyle among others. She is the winner of the Improper Bostonian’s short story prize, and her fiction has appeared in all three Fenway Fiction anthologies. Her novel Number Six Fumbles was published by Simon & Schuster/MTV Books, and her piece “The End of an Era” from the Pennsylvania Gazette was optioned as a screenplay. As “Hey Mrs. Solomon,” Rachel writes a widely read Substack newsletter about style for women over 40 (she calls this time period “arriving”), publishes a style diary on Instagram @heymrssolomon and also advises women on finding their style DNA at hermrssolomon.com.
She lives in Miami with her husband, three cats, and a guest room turned closet. They have a beloved son who lives in New England where they spend summers.
